During a recent honeymoon adventure through the northeastern United States, my wife and I stumbled upon an intriguing cryptozoology museum in Maine. Although modest in size and scope, the museum offered a captivating glimpse into the mysterious creatures that capture the imagination—ranging from creatively preserved taxidermy specimens to vintage newspaper clippings and artistic representations of cryptids.

The staff at the museum appeared well-versed in cryptozoological lore, with the attendant claiming expertise on the legendary creature Cassie. He kindly offered to sign a poster we purchased, which has since become a treasured display in our bathroom for several years.
